A 34-year-old man, who pleaded guilty to several drug charges, has two months to pay the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court a $1,500 fine.
If Travis Rondell Coppin, of Valerie Lane, Upper Collymore Rock, St Michael, fails to pay the fine he will spend eight months at HMP Dodds.
Coppin was charged with possession, possession with intent to supply and trafficking of $175 worth of cannabis which was found in two containers under the cellar as police executed a search warrant at his residence.
“That is my weed. I pelt under there when I hear wunna coming,” Coppin allegedly said at the time.
The fine was imposed on the traffic charge, while he was reprimanded and discharged on the other two offences.
