Staff at Scotiabank have been spreading Christmas joy.
Last Friday, they presented over 100 gifts to children whose parents are incarcerated.
Scotiabank Warrens Branch Manager Sterl Lyons said that they were extremely elated to make the presentation to the Prison Fellowship Angel Tree Drive.
“We have been doing this for 13 years and we are extremely proud because this comes from the staff themselves and every year they are excited to put together these prizes for the kids,” Lyons said, while stressing that there was nothing better than helping to put smiles on the faces of children.
Chairman of Prison Fellowship Barbados Mark Payne said that he was appreciative of the support.
“Since 1992 we have been trying to make the lives of children of inmates happier and it is through the efforts of Scotiabank and other stakeholders that we have been able to make an impact on these children’s lives,” Payne said as he thanked Scotiabank for going beyond the call of duty.
