Two men, who are separately accused of assaulting their siblings, were granted bail when the appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court.
Denver Victor, 33, of Jemmotts Lane, St Michael, is charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding his brother Nobert, causing him serious bodily harm on December 22, 2017.
He was not required to plead to the indictable charge when he appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant, and with no objections was released on $8,000 bail.
However the accused man must now report to the Hastings Police Station every Tuesday and Thursday before 12 p.m. with valid identification.
The case against him will continue on June 7.
Also returning to court on that date will be Sean Rommel Sealy, who is accused of assaulting his sister Nadine, occasioning her actual bodily harm on January 20.
The 31-year-old auto machinist, who resides at No 39, Clarkes Avenue, Bayville, St Michael, was granted $5,000 bail.
