A St Michael man was granted $120, 000 bail with one surety after appearing in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ court yesterday charged with multiple drug-related offences.
Twenty-eight-year-old Sheldon Andrew Rogers of Fairfield Cross Road, Tudor Bridge, St Michael was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis; possession with intent to supply; trafficking and importation of cannabis; unlawful possession of cocaine; possession with intent to supply and trafficking and importation of cocaine while he was at the Bridgetown Port last Monday.
Rogers had 5.334 kilograms of cannabis, which has an estimated street value of $42, 672 and 2, 305 kilograms of cocaine with a street value of $115, 250.
He pleaded not guilty to the offence before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sergeant.
As part of his bail conditions, he must surrender his passport to the court and report to the Black Rock Police Station every Monday.
Rogers will return to court on May 17.
