A 42-year-old self-employed man was granted $10,000 bail when he appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court today on a wounding charge.
It is alleged that Elson Tyrone Searles, of Bannister Land, Martindales Road, St Michael, caused serious bodily harm to Thrishan Barrow with intent to maim, disfigure or disable her.
He was not required to plead to the indictable charge, which was allegedly committed on February 19.
The prosecutor had no objections to Searles’ bail but requested that the accused man stays away from his alleged victim and resides at another address until the matter is adjudicated.
Searles returns to court on June 4.
