Four men, jointly accused of a wounding offence, were granted bail today when they appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant.
Terrence O’neal Bynoe, 20, of Waterhall Land, St Michael; Justin Omari Jones, 17, of Salters Tenantry Road, Haggatt Hall, St Michael; Rico Carlos Bovell, 22, of Niles Road, Waterhall Land, St Michael and Wayne Jabari Holder, 24, of Kellman Land, Black Rock, St Michael, pleaded not guilty to unlawfully and maliciously wounding Romario Cozier on February 14.
Jones is also facing a separate charge of unlawfully inflicting serious bodily harm on O’neale while Bynoe is accused of assaulting the same man on February 12.
They also denied those charges.
There were no objections to bail from the prosecutor. However, he requested that conditions be imposed on the four accused who were represented by attorney-at-law Arthur Holder.
All four men are to report with valid identification to the Black Rock Police Station on alternative days before noon. However, three of them were ordered to adhere to a daily 6p.m. to 6a.m. curfew while Holder must be indoors from 7 p.m. to 5a.m.
He was granted $5,000 bail along with Bovell, while Bynoe and Jones were each released on $7,000 bail.
The foursome was also warned to stay away from the alleged victim. They return to the No.2 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on June 7.
