A 46-year-old man was granted $3,000 bail today when he appeared in a Bridgetown court on a driving charge.
It is alleged that Charlie O’Neal Inniss, of Branchbury, St Joseph, being a person in charge of a vehicle did bodily harm to Rena Burgess, on April 5, by wanton driving.
Inniss, who appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick today with his attorney Shadia Simpson, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
With no objections from the prosecutor, he was released on the condition that he neither follows nor ventures onto Burgess’ premises.
The accused returns before the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on September 4.
