A 27-year-old man, who allegedly assaulted and insulted two members of the Royal Barbados Police Force, appeared in a Bridgetown court today to answer those charges.
Roy Mac Rogers, of Hill Road, Bank Hall, St Michael, pleaded not guilty to using the insulting words “wanna is bear f****** idiots” to constables Ramon Rice and Shamari Bullen while they executed their duties on Wednesday.
Rogers also denied that he assaulted and resisted officer Rice.
The accused was however granted bail with strict orders to keep the peace and to report to the Black Rock Police Station every Monday by noon with a valid piece of identification.
Rogers will make his next appearance before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant on September 4.
