A 22-year-old man, accused of criminal damage, has been remanded to prison until May 18.
Andrance Ricardo Welch, of No. 9 Neil’s Tenantry, Belle Gully, St Michael, is accused of damaging a window belonging to David Ashby on March 5.
The prosecutor objected to bail despite Welch’s claims that he knew “nothing about no window”.
Sergeant Cameron Gibbons pointed to the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident as well as strength of the evidence against the accused as the main grounds for his objections. He also revealed that Welch was already on bail from two courts.
“I don’t know nothing about it, I was at the Garrison the whole day. . . . That’s from my heart. Please give me a chance,” Welch said in his submission which was denied.
