A 41-year-old man will make his next appearance in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on September 13.
Troy Anthony Hinds, of No. 9, Heddings, St Philip, was granted $10,000 bail when he appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant today.
The businessman is accused of causing serious bodily harm to Curtis Quintyne and Sherryanne Hinds-Powlett on April 19 with intent to maim, disfigure and disable them.
He was not allowed to plead to the indictable charges after Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant read it out to him.
Hinds, who has Rasheed Belgrave as his legal counsel, must report to Central Police Station every Monday and Thursday before noon with valid identification.
The accused has also been warned to stay away from the complainants as well as Hinds-Powlett’s daughter until the matter is adjudicated.
