Two St James men – Kadeem Chad Remalo Jones and Juan Juist Geraldo Clement – were remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison Dodds after appearing before Magistrate Wanda Blair in the Holetown Magistrates’ Court earlier this week.
Jones, 26, of Endeavour #3, and Clement, 32, of Jackman’s Road, Endeavour, have been charged with multiple drug and gun related offences.
Jones was arrested last Friday after police executed a search warrant at his home and found an automatic assault rifle, 65 rounds of ammunition, two magazines and 37 grammes of cannabis with a street value of $137.
Clement was arrested last Saturday after police executed a search warrant at his home and found two AK-47 assault rifles, a shot gun, a rifle, six magazines, five rounds of ammunition, 33 cannabis plants and cannabis stalks weighing 462 grammes with a street value of $2,310.
The men, who are being represented by attorney-at-law Arthur Holder, will reappear in court on May 22.
