Two public service vehicle (PSV) workers will appear in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court tomorrow following an altercation in the River Van Stand today.
They are 30 year-old Travis Tremaine Brathwaite, of Sealy Hall, St Philip, and 34-year-old James Anthony Andrews, of Apple Hall Terrace in the same parish.
The men were arrested after being involved in an altercation with two police constables around 8:45 a.m.
Brathwaite was charged with obstructing, assaulting and resisting Constable 2077 Denis Murray in the execution of his duties. He was also charged with criminal damage of one police uniform shirt, which is the property of the Crown.
Andrews was charged with assaulting and threatening Police Constable 2214 Donette Cadogan, soliciting passengers, and being improperly attired.
