A record 6,000 people participated in this year’s Chefette Fun Run charity event on Sunday.
Wearing neon green shirts participants trekked from Chefette Warrens to Chefette Fontabelle for the sixth edition of the charity run.
Parents came out with their toddlers and teenagers — some of whom were on skateboards and bicycles while others brought their pets along — for the six mile trek.
Managing Director of Chefette Restaurants, Ryan Haloute, was ecstatic about the record number saying the event kept getting bigger and better every year.
“We have a great team and the response from the public and the sponsors have been incredible,” he said.
The proceeds from event will go towards Precious Touch Foundation which grants wishes to terminally ill children, Variety – The Children’s Club and the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) breakfast feeding programme.
