A 29-year-old man, who pleaded guilty to robbery, will know his fate on June 20.
Simeon Levi Graham, of Bannister Land, Martindales Road, St Michael, admitted before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant to stealing a gold chain and pendant worth $4,600 and $60 cash belonging to Brandon Grannum on March 30.
According to Sergeant Cameron Gibbons, Grannum and a friend went partying and drinking at Harbour Lights in Bay Street on the aforementioned date.
When they left the establishment, the two decided to have a nap before heading home. But while they slept with the windows down, Graham relieved Grannum of his possessions.
However, the victim only realized his property was missing when he got home. He returned to Harbour Lights where a check was made of the CCTV footage and a man was seen committing the crime. Graham was later arrested for the offence.
Today, the accused told the magistrate he needed help as he was tired of “going to prison”.
