Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an accident which occurred along the Barrow Section of the A.B.C Highway last night leaving two males with serious injuries.
The accident involved a motorcycle, registration number G1305, owned and driven by Renaldo Goodman, 29, of #1 Glebe Land, St George, and a pedestrian, Ricardo Stuart, 52, of Lower Burney, St Michael.
Around 11:55 p.m., the motor cyclist was travelling from Pine Hill towards the J. T. C Ramsay (Bussa) roundabout. On reaching the area of the traffic lights, two motor cars were stationary, one in each lane. At the same time the pedestrian was crossing and was struck by the motor cyclist.
The motor cycle then mounted the Jersey barrier and ended up on the other side of the carriageway.
Goodman sustained a fractured left forearm and multiple abrasions to his face and abdomen and Stuart suffered head injuries, lacerations to his abdomen and a fractured left foot.
They were both transported by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
