Members of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA) will get to hear newly elected Prime Minister Mia Mottley’s vision for their industry on Wednesday, June 13.
The occasion will be the BHTA’s Annual General Meeting at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.
The BHTA said in a press release that Prime Minister Mottley’s presentation is expected to be thought-provoking as she addresses the tourism industry leaders on her vision for the country’s major foreign exchange earning industry and the role of the sector in the Barbados Economic Reform programme.
During the meeting, reports will also be delivered by CEO of the BHTA, Senator Rudy Grant and outgoing Chairman Roseanne Myers.
The AGM will also see the installation of the new Board of Directors, headed by incoming Chairman Stephen Austin, who will deliver remarks.
