A 33-year-old man has been warned to be on his best behaviour for the next twelve months.
Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant imposed the bond on Rodney McNeil Nurse, of Thorpes Cottage, St John, today after he pleaded guilty to stealing a hair trimmer kit belonging to Massy Stores Limited.
According to the police report Nurse was former employee at the company. The court heard that on May 26 workers there were taking stock when they discovered the item missing. A check was made of the CCTV and Nurse was seen removing it.
“I am sorry for what I did, I apologize,” Nurse, who sold the item to a pawnshop for $150, said.
If Nurse breaches the bond he will have to pay the court $1,500 forthwith or spend three months in prison.
He also had to compensate Massy Stores $150 forthwith or spend six weeks in prison. The money was paid.
