A 42-year-old woman, who slapped the manager of a City store in the face after she was asked leave, has been remanded to the Psychiatric Hospital for observation.
The police prosecutor said Sita Ngozi Williams, of Chancery Lane, Christ Church, entered Dallas Discount earlier today and was asked by a security guard whether she needed help.
“I don’t want no f****** help,” she responded.
The manager Ronald Noel, on hearing her response, approached Williams and asked her to leave. She responded by slapping him in the face, occasioning him actual bodily harm.
Williams, who is not known to the court, declined to say anything in her defence only telling Magistrate Douglas Frederick that what was said is true and that she had no psychological issue which would explain her behaviour.
Officials are expected to hand over a report to the District ‘A’ Magistrate’s Court on July 18.
