The Police Prosecutors Office has relodged several criminal charges, which were previously dismissed, against five men.
Sharaad Jabarry Phillips, Damian Shavaine Proverbs, Joel Omar Hunte, Nathaniel Renaldo Robinson, all of Parish Land, Christ Church, and Rohan Alisane Mario Holder of Smith’s Gap, Lammings Park, St Joseph, have again been charged with the June 18, 2015 robbery of Elvis Graham, Taja Neblett, and Andrew Maloney.
The stolen items which totalled $12,335 also included cash.
Phillips and Hunte are also again charged with inflicting serious bodily harm on Graham with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him or to cause some serious bodily harm to him, as well as using a firearm for which they did not have licences.
Hunte was not present before Magistrate Douglas Frederick when the case was called recently as he was not served with the necessary documents, while the other four were granted $10,000 each.
The accused men are expected in the No. 1 District ‘A’ Magistrate’s Court on October 9 where the cases against them will continue.
