A taxi driver has been accused of planning to earn a fare illegally.
Elizabeth Francine Watts, 54, of Kirtons, St Philip was released on $2,000 bail on a charge of entering the house of Elmina Weekes-Regis as a trespasser on August 8 with intent to commit theft.
No plea was taken when Watts, who was represented by attorney-at-law Angella Mitchell-Gittens, appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant yesterday.
Her case will be heard at the District ‘C’ Magistrate’s Court on August 16. In the meantime, she is to stay away from the complainant’s property.
