Friends, family, and members of the Redhead Records Inc. assembled at the Flour Mill on Spring Garden to join in the motorcade with Mr Blood (Anderson Armstrong) to celebrate his winning the Pic-O-De-Crop calypso title.
His performance of Stars and Stripes and Sexual Harassment won him 104 points, the monarchy, and cash and prizes including a 2018 Nissan Xtrail compliments Courtesy Garage.
The motorcade left The Flour Mill where fans were treated to performances from Blood and other members of the Redhead Records Inc. as they travelled through Bridgetown to Skymall, Haggatt Hall.
The motorcade then proceeded to Harmony Lodge Development, St Philip, where they were treated to a performance by Blood and some of the members of the Red Head family.
Speaking to Bajan Vibes, Blood said that he was pleased with the turnout of the motorcade that celebrated his victory.
“The motorcade went off as planned and we had a very good response and turn out. The motorcade ended in the park in my neighbourhood and we continued the celebration and went into the night. There were even performances and tributes from members of the Redhead Production Inc. I am thankful and grateful to all who supported, contributed and celebrated with me,” he said.
The motorcade also included his prized motor car.
