Where are all the “Beautiful Black Women”. ?.
No hope in hell to win Miss Universe again with these dog representations.
The least we can do is wish the young lady the best of luck.
I would support a contest for women of colour, rather than seeing this charade take place year after year. Donald Trump owned the Miss Universe Organisation from 1996 to 2015, and sold it to a company called WME/IMG. Few black contestants have ever won the title, in a programme designed to highlight how great the white race is. The complexion of the world has changed, and will change for ever. Black and brown will dominate. People glorify a good tan and some even spend much time in tanning machines in Chicago and other states across the USA.
Johnny Crow, When a black woman enters Miss Universe, what does she do? See hides her hair under shoulder or waist-length fake hair. She endures the rigour of whitenning, brightening and straightening her teeth, and she tries to bleach wherever possible. In other words, she goes in at the disadvantage of trying to hide who she is.
I wish Ms. Theobalds all the best as she gets ready for Thailand, my wish for her, is to go with her natural hair despite what the organisers try to force her to do; keep her poise, her beauty and teeth in tact and let them shine through. She is not a scatterbrain, and i believe that she will do Barbados proud.
Let us rally behind our girl.
