Junior Anderson Grafton Yarde has found himself back at HMP Dodds just four days after being released from the St Philip penal institution.
The 49-year-old, of no fixed place of abode, appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick today accused of stealing a $500 pair of sunglasses belonging to Hashim Delair between September 14 and 15.
Sergeant Rudy Pilgrim objected to bail despite a not guilty plea from the accused.
The prosecutor said Yarde was known to the law courts, had no fixed place to live and there were fears that he would re-offend.
In his application for bail Yarde disclosed that he had been released from Dodds just last Friday.
He will make his next appearance in the No. 1 District ‘A’ Magistrate’s Court on October 16.
