  • I met Mr.Greaves for the first time, when he arrived here in Ottawa as our Islands Top Representative in Canada, as a matter of fact, i was the First bajan Expatriate to welcome him to Ottawa, and we had a long chat at that time, we became pretty close as time passed on, to the point where he or his Wife would often call me for advice on Bajan centric things that they were planning to do at the Residence. i was also in attendance at his farewell Function at Parkdale United Church, where i sang Frank Sinatra's "My Way" a song that he loved very much.
In Aug 2018 when i was Home in Barbados for my Annual Month of Vacation, i call Mr Greaves and we chatted on the Phone for over an Hour and then he gave me their Number to talk to his Wife Francillia, which i did. not knowing that, that would be last time i would speak to him on this Earth.

My sincerest Condolences go out to his Wife Francillia, His Daughters Stacey and Lauralynn, and all other Family(s) affected by his Passing.

May he now rest in Peace, and Rise again some Day with the Angels.

    2 Timothy 4:7-8:-
You have fought the good fight, You have finished the race, You have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for you the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to you on that Day, and not only to you, but also to all who have loved his appearing.

Until we meet again -au revoir my Friend.
