Police investigate burglary at Cave Shepherd, Sunset Crest

Police are investigating a burglary at the Cave Shepherd Department Store in Sunset Crest, St James.
They reported that the section of the store which houses Colombian Emeralds International was broken into between 3:40 a.m. and 3:52 a.m.
Several articles of jewellry were stolen. However, the estimated value is unknown.
Lawmen are asking anyone with information that can assist investigations to contact police at emergency number 211, the Holetown Police Station at 419-1700, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 or any police station.

  • Tell the business people to have cameras install and who are the people they asking for information from at that time in the morning? When these people are caught on camera and the police give the tape to the TV station, they don`t wait for the police to get them, they just surrender.

  • I'm surprised at that time of morning they got anything unless they got in the safe usually before closing all jewelry is removed from cases
