Home / A Slider / Police investigate armed robbery
Police are on the scene of an armed robbery at Zephirin’s mini mart on Tudor Bridge, St Michael.
(more details as they come to hand.)
The B C T G ( Black Cattle Thug Gangs ) have struck again . . .
Black low life , jungle animal cattle.
There is a real need for an attitude change at the top of the police and political leadership. Sorry, but you’re not giving us the sense that you’re willing and able to take actions. Boots on the ground, in the neighbourhood, house searches, gun amnesty, simple stop and search.. . this is a crisis – daily gun violence – and we’re sitting down sipping coke like it’s a movie.
Ain’t commenting…. D political fleas biting serious!
This is what happens when the government put off shore investments before their own ppl that suffering.. keep studying economy crisis. The ppl hungry and wonna puttin a medical school before agriculture
Jason Greenidge you are talking foolishness and sound like someone that want to be heard looking for attention
WTF ?! @ Williams Smith..looking for attention?
And any bet this robbery was done by teens and we can expect another robbery before the week is over by more teens. These teens can be identified by the principals of the schools where they attended as trouble makers.Pull all the trouble makers out of the school system for one month and place them in a bootcamp at the Bdos Defence Force now.The principals knows who they are.Had a bootcamp been introduced since two years ago we could’ve saved some of these teens and prevented some of these crimes. We must try to save our youth before they reach the courts

Ossie Moore : Awesome ideas Mr. LICORISH but anything to eradicate this kind of very violent crime in Barbados will not be done until :
(a) It starts to affect the tourism industry
(b) Until The USA closes it’s Embassy in Barbados.
(c) Until Europe, Great Britain, Canada, The USA and others put Barbados as ” off Limits to travel to ” for it’s citizens.
The Barbadian ” denialists and comparisonitis ” are going to say ” but crime is worse in Jamaica, Trinidad, Guyana and all over the world so crime in Buhbados ‘aint that bad”
BUT those other countries do not advertise to the to the world that they are The Gem of the Caribbean ! ! !
Violent crime like this is not supposed to happen on the GEM of the Caribbean.
Protect business owners by issuing them firearms
Hmmm seeing these comments bout ppl hungry them ain wrking and so on but Ive seen at least two or three picks of alledge robbers and them dress to d nines if them did so hungry and struggling buy food not clothes ppl just seem to wan blame government for d youngsters choices up to today heard some talking bout them wah never work in no gas station nor super market wanna really think them wan wuk them got guns and them choose to rob simple as that
Then some get hold the Police wukking
These store owners needs to arm themselves now enough is enough these lazy people want free stuff
@Samuel Licorish , “Boots on the ground ” does not always solve the problem. We had 38,000+pairs on the ground in Belfast and other parts of NI, and the problem stood there for 38 years, mainly because of political posturing.
Arm store owners? Really. How about ZR Van conductors, Minibus drivers, Coconut sellers, bread sellers, ice cream van drivers, the girls on Bush Hill who handle money.
After reading the blogs i have not heard anyone mentioning the Hennessy show next month.
Whenever this show is coming up robberies increase.
We will refuse to do something now about the violence in schools till the next school fighting season starts and then when it happens we will have a lot to say. These students who will fight will more than likely be the ones before the courts next 2 years. So why not save them now?
@Alistair Haynes, Sadly the violence perpetrated by children in school is what they witness taking place on a daily basis in their homes, their communities and generally it is ingrained within Barbados society and culture. It is what we teach the children from an early age. Some Barbadians don’t want to work for an honest living; they prefer to rob and kill citizens who work their backsides off in order to take care of their family. Barbados, is a badly broken society in need of urgent fixing in order to survive the difficulties of modern day life. The courts are granting bail to criminals who’ve committed murders and other serious crime. This is something that never happen in other forward thinking countries. The Island lost its way.
Ossie Moore stop talking c==t. Your country had 40,000 murders last year alone and no country made it off limits for their citizens to travel. If it is indeed possible think before yapping next time. but I doubt it.
@ Rodney Callander, Your ignorance is amazing. I will first address your stupidity, and inform you that I am a born and bread citizen of Barbados. Barbados has never ceased to be my country. Next, the statistics you mentioned represents the entire United Kingdom England Northern Island Scotland and Wales . No one in their right mind would compare the little postage stamp Island of Barbados with the United Kingdom. You are some real joker.
@ Rodney Callander, I’m apologising for my previous comment,as I’ve come to realise that your post is directed to someone else. I had misread it.
pretty soon they will make a mistake and get catch they all do. my boys in blue isn’t use to this kind of activity they have some catching up to do and they will .
