A man who threatened to shoot his two sisters was remanded to jail over the weekend.
Emmerson Dacosta Deane, 48, of #17 Magneta Drive, Todds, St George, will remain at the St Philip penal institution until December 14, when his matter will be transferred to the District ‘B’ Magistrates Court in Boarded Hall, St George.
He was remanded by Magistrate Graveney Bannister when he appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court on Saturday.
Deane is charged with using the threatening words, “I am going to buy a gun and shoot you,” to Monica Deane on November 10. He is also charged with telling Glendine Deane, “I will shoot you,” on the same date.
The magistrate told the accused that the court viewed the allegations as serious.
