• . . . but after 52 years of independence, the only change that there seems to be is that " The Barbados Today Online " and the " ROYAL WHITE Barbados Police Dept " are moving in the right direction to change the way in which they describe their own black Barbadians.

  They have described the young lady as:

  { "she is of brown complexion, 5’ 4’ tall, medium build " } . . . . the way in which a human being should be described instill of the " black jungle animal, and black slave description such as :

  large round head
  large ears
  large forehead
  large nose
  large eyes
  large teeth
  large mouth
  bow legs

  Those were the descriptions given to the slaves who were on sale on " BLCK FRIDAY " during the slave trade in BUHBADOS.

• SAD BAJAN this is always two side to a story, you always hear the women saying oh d man is no good, he wont support the kids, but you wont hear from the women how them wont let the men see the children, and taking them to court every time them get a raise, then you get these stupid judges that grind the man like he get the child him self, if the woman getting working for 500$ and d man for 500$ let he pay 200$and she pay 200$, but you always hear the women but i got other children to look after, like the men aint got other children too, something wrong with the judges here in barbados, if it was up here and this was happening them judges would find them self out of a job, so dont start talking, you would had to do that man something that he left, maybe you dont want he to have no friends cant hang out, or lime at least one day a week, so you would got to know why you single and dont say he was a wutless man , maybe you was unreasonable and want to control, check the things that men leave home for, a controlling woman a selfish woman , and a lazy woman ,

• All above comments judging the mother, but who is to say that the child did not go behind her mothers back and had her tattoo done. Many single parent women try to support children on their own because the delinquent fathers choose to run behind other women and forsake their children. I am a mother supporting a son at college and the father tells everyone his son at college but don't give his son nothing not even a brown mint, mind you he attends church and boast that his son attends college. I am not dragging no man to court for him to do his part. Vengeance is mine said the lord. I say all that to say this. you can take a cow to water but you cannot make him drink the water. Sometimes you speak to children but they have their own mind and make bad choices. Some can be reversed and some they have to live with. I hope that little girl is found and everything be all right with her and she seeks counselling.

• GAURDIAN well said i agree, women must stop getting pregnant and using the children as a pay cheque as we say here in the USA ,also LOVING IT, even though i agree with you and the dead beat men for fathers, you still have some women who wont allow some fathers to see their children and do not let them know anything that is going on in the child life, but only look for money when the month come , i know of a case where a son 17 years old who dont call his father, and the mother dont even ask the son if he call his father, but when the father call the son answer the phone and if the father ask why you dont call me the son says i was busy but yet the son is always out with friends, which mean he dont care to call, but the father still support him every month, cause she poison the son mind against the father by not telling him the truth, so you see who is to blame for the way the children turn out, the women ,but he will soon be finishing school and if he dont get a job who will support him, the father say he done support at the very day of 18 years old unless he is back at school, cant blame the father, the women are the one who are breaking the back of barbados and the society when it comes to the raising on the kids,

• hope she is safe and sound and return home and get some help. that said some women got to stop getting pregnant for the sake of getting pregnant it is not helping the society all it doing is is destroying it. once some women got them cell phone their mock hair on them head up in every body bisness their do no not give one heck about their kids and thats where we see the break down with the child rearing.sad though really. getting a child is serious bisness it a no joke but some people think it is. so thats why we see so many young boys out in little group up and down the road giving so much trouble when the day come. and the authority needs ton pay closer attention to this matter asap. or all the the economy we talking about would be in vain. we in barbabos let in all kind of sub cultures in our land and it help to destroy our adults and children minds. so here we are now.
