A 39-year–old St Michael man was injured in a shooting incident that occurred at Nelson Street, St Michael around 8:05 a.m.
Police report that Neverlane Springer of 3rd Avenue, Long Gap, Spooners Hill, received gunshot injuries to his left calf and lower left foot.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle.

It's high time to level that area. Its a blight on the Barbados landscape.
Its sole destroying that this indiscriminately mindless behaviour continues to blight Barbados and its people. The dead beat criminals has no respect for the lives of other human beings, and until the a Government takes definite action, and make the gun men under that taking a life mean losing theirs the shootings will continue.
