Police investigate shooting incident at Nelson Street, St Michael

A 39-year–old St Michael man was injured in a shooting incident that occurred at Nelson Street, St Michael around 8:05 a.m.
Police report that Neverlane Springer of 3rd Avenue, Long Gap, Spooners Hill, received gunshot injuries to his left calf and lower left foot.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle.


Police are asking anyone with information that can assist investigations to contact Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477, or the District ‘A’ Police Station at 430-7246 or the nearest police station.

The dead beat criminals has no respect for the lives of other human beings, and until the a Government takes definite action, and make the gun men under that taking a life mean losing theirs the shootings will continue.
