The PM had better call an emergency meeting with her cabinet to address the nation on what action she and her AG intend to do about this madness. It is as though there is an everlasting full moon beaming down on the lunatics and they are galloping out of control. They are definately sending the message that they are above the law and couldn’t care if Good Friday falls on a Sunday. This now has to be a story for the British & American media so that people who intend to travel to Barbados can make an informed choice. All of us who put our X in that ballot box on May 24th 2018 need to march to parliament to let the PM know we have lost faith in her management of crime and violence,MURDERS,MURDERS,MURDERS,SHOOTINGS,SHOOTINGS,STABBINGS & ROBBERIES !!!!!! Oh my goodness something drastic needs to happen. No I have not lost the plot but just sick and tired like before May 24th 2018.
Its happening almost every other day now. What is going on!
HONESTLY says :
“The PM had better call an emergency meeting with her cabinet to address the nation on what action she and her AG intend to do about this”.
Ossie Moore: . . . . and an emergency meeting will never be called because then that will spoil Barbados from having ” a BUMPER tourist season ” . . . . this tourist season.
The last thing that Barbados wants the ” tourist world ” to see is the PM , AG and Police Chief ( wearing a stiff starched khahi uniform ) standing in front of media telling it’s citizens that Buhbados is now the WILD WILD WEST (INDIES) island of the Caribbean.
But ! ! ! if they ( PM , AG and Police Chief )don’t do it sooner or later the International world media ( with backup of social media )will and by the time the 5 cruise ships stop docking in the Bridgetown port and fewer ” visitors ” stop getting off the planes at GIA , it will be too late for them (PM , AG and Police Chief ) to do something about it.
Oh ! and by the way I almost forgot. . . it seems now as though the shootings are leaving the ” thug infested ‘ areas of The Gem of the Caribbean and have now infiltrated the CHRIST CHURCH area. . . . if you know what I mean.
Catch my drift anyone ? ? ?
@OSSIE,I laughing boy because I knew you would have to touch the BUMPER but I would be very happy to hear that the hooligans start to rip off some real, real vehicular bumpers from those private plated vehicles we the tax payers have to pay for, then and only then you’ll see all 30 in that green and white building moving at brekneck speed to put wrong things right. To be proactive in Barbados is a bad word to react is preferred because those with power get noticed but as usual it would be too late, those cruise ships would have long gone a sailing bye.Not only will we be hearing of water woes soon to come shall be tourist woes maybe there is a rapid response team headed up by the tourism minister waiting at GIA and the port handing out safety helmets and bullet proof vest for those who dare to brave the elements.
Wow,Human life is of no value, according to these gun crazy heartless criminals. It will appear that they have taken ownership of the Streets of Barbados putting real fear into the minds of law abiding citizens. Unless something is done to put a end to the wanton violence, the Island will fall completely into decay.
