Spectacular New Year welcome at Hilton

Hundreds of patrons at the Hilton Barbados welcomed 2019 with a big bang as the luxury property staged its Old Year’s Eve event, Spellbound Night Under the Stars.

The energy was high and patrons were in awe as the countdown got underway seconds before midnight , giving way to a stunning fireworks display off Needhams Point.

Patrons whipped out their mobile phones to record the spectacle as parents and children screamed in delight, some couples kissed and friends hugged.

Before the highlight of the night, patrons were entertained by the soothing voice of Barbadian vocalist Marisa Lindsey and saxophonist Elan Trotman who delighted fans as he played several hits including Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean, Rupee’s Tempted to Touch and Rihanna’s Wild Thoughts.
