According to Acting Inspector Police Public Relations Officer Rodney Inniss the the route taxi was travelling in a northerly direction when the accident occurred. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the route taxi, whose name has not been disclosed, suffered minor injuries and he opted to seek private medical attention. “What we can say is that the motorcycle was completely destroyed because it burst into flames on impact. The route taxi has extensive damages to the front section,” Inniss added.
