Teenager relieved of his gun

Yet another teenager has been remanded to prison in connection with gun and ammunition charges.

Carl Leslie Hinds Jr., 19, of Lot 49 Lodge Crescent, Lodge Hill, St Michael got an automatic 28-day stint at HMP Dodds starting today when he appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick this afternoon.

It is alleged that Hinds had a firearm and four rounds of ammunition in his possession on March 27, 2019.

The accused who returns before the District ‘A’ Magistrates’s Court on April 25, 2019, was not required to plea to the indictable offences.
