Attorney General Dale Marshall today announced a gun amnesty, which will begin from Sunday, April 7 and end on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at midnight.

The amnesty relates to guns, parts of firearms and ammunition.

Leading off debate on the Bail (Amendment) Bill, 2019, Marshall warned criminals that the Government means business and it will protect citizens.

“If you have ammunition that you know you have no unlawful reason to have, take it to any police station, no question asked. If you have guns, parts of guns . . . day or night, take it to any police station, no questions asked.

“And if you know and you can get your hands on it, take it to the police station, Sir; but one week,” Marshall said.
