Home / Local News / Akanni McDowall re-elected NUPW president
Akanni McDowall is still the president of the National Union of Public Workers (NUPW).
Congrats vibrant young man
The fabric of his sell-out leadership in the pass, will haunt him into the future. He will cow tow to the Queen Bee like all the other union leaders.
Just over 1000 votes? Doesnt say much for the support of union members..iF THE others had joined forces..that joker would have been gone….
birds of a feather
This is a result of being disorganized and workers lack of interest.
Congratulations, brother Akanni!
The naysayers gnash their teeth in a similar manner on May 24 last year. They say “time longer than twine” and the twine was cut short on that eventful day — 30-0.
Now the “power hungry” are predicting a one-term government in a similar manner as they stated for you in the past.
Your re-election is vindication that you are doing a excellent job for the NUPW membership. You were fairly and democratically elected, so let the jokers deal with that.
It must be painful for those jack rabbit haters to watch their enemies elected over and over, and take leadership for a very long time to come.
