Just over 238 kilogrammes of drugs with a street value of $1,124, 600.00 was destroyed. Police supervised the destruction of 93 bags of cannabis weighing 232.4 kilogrammes , and five bags of cocaine weighing 6.5 kilogrammes. Senior Superintendent Acting Bruce Rowe, who supervised the destruction, told reporters that the drugs came into police custody following an investigation last year in which three people were charged.
