Stephen Carrington remanded until May 17

The second person charged in connection with the January 23 murder of Corrie Yabba Parris of Shop Hill, St Thomas, has been remanded to HMP Dodds until May 17.

Stephen Alvin Carrington, 18, of Kings Gap, Eagle Hall, St Michael, appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick this morning at the District A Magistrates’ Court in relating to the killing of Parris in the vicinity of Baxters Road, Bridgetown.
Prior to his arrest on April 17, Carrington was the subject of a wanted man notice.
Parris was shot multiple times while driving a vehicle. He succumbed to his injuries at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Lamar Alex Hewitt of New Orleans, St Michael, was previously charged with the January 23 killing. (KK)
