Perhaps they cannot find the crank handles that go with these phones.
This is so shameful, these are the phones which is being used in Barbados, come on ,, its no wonder nothing works,…… This is 50 year old technology, just like most things in Barbados, as the water, sewage , roads……….
But I will still admit , these analogue phones was a lot better than lot of the digital crap we are using today…………
@JRSMITH, and perhaps if the Transport Board still had its fleet of Bedfords, Austins., Leylands , Albions, AEC’s and ‘Mercybends’, the travelling public would not be in the dire situation it finds itself in today.
@,Belfast, hail, hail, there is still some of those old vehicles on the roads in Barbados today, so my answer would be yes……..
Wasn’t this bad during that period……….
Look at the present state of the transport infrastructure and they are planning to purchase vehicles with a highly sophisticated technology, to place in this environment……
Wait for it , a much bigger disaster , unless the company/ companies selling the vehicles, pre train bajan engineers to a high standard, to maintain the vehicles…. Lets wait and see ..In Barbados its always holding the bull by the tail……….
