The public is asked to note that effective Wednesday, March 18, the opening hours of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Pharmacy have been extended to facilitate the dispensation of a two-month supply of medication to out-patients.
The pharmacy will now be opened from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm on weekdays; and 8:30 am to 5 pm on weekends.
It is advised that persons on medication have at minimum a two-month supply of all medications prescribed. As such, this limited dispensation service is simply a precautionary measure to ensure patient care is not compromised.
Persons visiting the pharmacy are asked to observe a three feet, or 1-meter space between themselves and others, and after submission of the prescription script to return to their seat until their name is called. (QEH)
