Three of the island’s main fast food restaurants have announced major changes in wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.
KFC, Chefette and Burger King have informed the public of a number of changes in light of the Ministry of Health’s announcement that the country is now in Stage 2 and there shall be no gatherings of over 25 people.
KFC was the first to inform their customers via social media yesterday evening shortly after the Ministry’s announcement, closing their dining area.
The statement reads: “In compliance with recent Government guidelines we will only be allowing 25 customers inside KFC restaurants at a time and our dine areas are now closed. We invite all customers to ultilise our take out, drive-thru, in store and delivery service.”
Today, Burger King announced that they too have “temporarily suspended in store dining”.
“We encourage our customers to use our take-away and drive-thru services due to the restriction placed on the number of persons permitted to gather in one place,” the Burger King statement said.
Chefette has also notified customers that their playgrounds and BBQ Barn Self-Service Salad Bars are now closed until further notice. (IMC)
