Share FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 364 A father and son are now homeless after fire destroyed their homes and damaged three others and a vehicle at Baycroft Road, Carrington Village, St. Michael, this afternoon. Divisional Officer with the Barbados Fire Service, Mervin Mayers, said: “This afternoon we received a call about a house fire in Baycroft Road. When we got there two houses were alight, and in the end, two houses were destroyed, two houses slightly damaged, and a car was slightly damaged to the left side.” Two water tenders from the Bridgetown Division and one from the Arch Hall station with Mayers in command and two senior officers and 12 firefighters responded to the call. The two houses destroyed in the blaze belonged to Michael Stoute, 66, and his son Antonio Stoute, 24, while two of the houses that were slightly damaged were occupied while the other was unoccupied.
