They are expected to appear in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court this morning.

The lawlessness of some people in Barbados cannot and must not be allowed. All 29 should be sent to jail. No bail.
The authorities in Barbados cannot allow the open disregard and disrespect for rules and regulations to take root in Barbados. It must not happen. This behavior is common in certain other islands, don’t let it take root in Barbados. I will not name those islands but everyone knows which ones they are.
The law must be obeyed, period.
Obviously and sadly, there are a few people who think that the protocols to contain the spread of COVID-19 are not to be regarded because freedom is more important than their health and that of those they come in contact with.
There is no novel Coronavirus vaccine as yet!
Would someone please explain to me why up to now they has been no legal challenge mounted to question the legality of the never ending always extending curfew…this curfew was to last two week ..it long pass two months…the church has not challenge it…we have a god given right as Christian to worship…this is not China…the trade unions have not challenged it ..we have a trade union right to pursue lawful employment… The legal fraternity has not offered a legal essay on the conflict with respect to our human rights to free assembly, and free movement.,free association… The opposition if you can call it that has failed in it role an natural default to oppose everything the government brings to Parliament furthermore the enactment of a law that was triggered by panic and a non emergency..it was not challenged by the business community for the right to carry out the legal functions of their enterprises.. Hampered by a government restriction on who can lawfully access their place of work…this government blundered in its initial response…in its selection of those would managed this manufactured crisis..how can the govt get away with forcing me to stay indoors when I do not possess the illness …I thought the government would first have to prove I am a danger to society before removing me from society… So the entire situation is ludicrous… Where the healthy is confined to home and the sick is confined to a hospital… This is and continue to be ridiculous… A person cannot pass what he does not have neither can he catch an illness from the those who are not sick… I challenge the ‘czar’ or whatever idiotic title the chief spokeman is using these days ..to tell me which scintific random sample conducted.. On the prevalence of C-19 in the population came up with ANY positive elements….the social scientist would have to use the entire population of Barbados as his sample size…our situation is nonsensical Mr carter should stick to pronunciations on the social fallout of unemployment and what I see as unlawful confinement…or what the govt has termed a curfew…it is ridiculous… The wearing of mask as one in a population where 80 people out of 300,000..has contracted the ailment serves only to give legitimacy to nonsense…the fixation on hand washing…serves to install and reinforce at an unconscious level an unnecessary fear…Barbados has been and still is under experiment …Maybe to sustain this absurb fear is to make us even more pliable for yet another unholy and unlawful non Necessity …the vaccine
Donild Trimp and Ruthie, you don’t know what really happened and you writing nonsense, my friend is one of the people wrongfully arrested and charged with breaking the curfew when in fact he was not . The curfew begin at 8 pm and he was picked up at 7 pm , what that tells you that the police don’t understand the curfew law , he was within his legal right to be where he was. Barbados needs better educated people in the police force.
I told him to challenge this stupidness in court and let the judge decide , all of these charges MUST be thrown OUT in court.
Judge Bannister was right the law is ambiguous and needs clarity , the attorney general Dale Marshall said the the law is fine ,but he needs to go back to law school and do some refresher courses.
@David Pigrim, are you serious my friend for you seem to be not familiar with the term and words which follow #SuperSpreaders #Asymptomatic. In Ghana, 1 yes yes person who was asymptomatic infected over 583 persons at a factory.
Can you not worship with your God in the comfort of your home and not in a building? Your request seems oblivious to how contagious this virus is and how many lives have been lost carelessly.
Your call not only endangers you but will unnecessarily expose persons and health care workers who may have to attend to you should you get sick. I would never say your call is selfish, irrational, and uncaring. Nothing personal other than my opinion on your opinion.
‘furthermore the enactment of a law that was triggered by PANIC and a NON-EMERGENCY’….well said….,I too have been saying that there WAS NO REASON to have implemented a 24hr.curfew at that time…NONE WHATSOEVER and, furthermore now that the 24hr. curfew has ended there is absolutely NOTHING to SHOW for it..it hasn’t achieved anything ..it has not contained anything…it hasn’t stop something because there was NOTHING to stop.
I see you don’t publish my comments
