Police said in a statement, “A single motorcar driven by Anthony Brathwaite 25 years of Mills Apartments, Piton Road, St. James struck a solid concrete barrier which serves as a protective barrier and separator of the lanes carrying vehicles in opposing directions. The vehicle burst in flames on impact, the blaze engulfed the entire vehicle along with its occupant, only the charred remains were left of the deceased.” Lawmen reported, no other persons or property were injured or damaged. One fire tender and six personnel responded. They are issuing a public appeal for anyone who might have witnessed this collision to contact the District A Police Station at 4307242.
