Two injured in shooting at Four Hill, St Peter

Police are continuing investigations into a shooting incident in which two men were injured at Four Hill, St Peter on Wednesday around 10:20 p.m.

According to lawmen, a group of men was playing dominoes at Griffith Grocery and Bar when two men, one wearing a mask, the other a dark shirt covering his face, armed with guns,  demanded money and started shooting.

Twenty-eight-year-old Akeel Lamar Carter of Roebuck Street, St Peter was shot above his left eye and is reported to be in a stable but critical condition.

While 19-year-old Shaquir Ifill of Lot 3, Four Hill Development, St Peter was shot in his left thigh. He was treated and discharged.

Anyone with information about the incident should contact the District ‘E’ Station at 419-1730, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 or any police station.
