The Barbados Water Authority is advising customers in some parts of St Lucy, St Peter, St John and St Joseph that they will continue to experience low pressure or water outages as low reservoir levels and reduced capacity continue to be an issue at BWA facilities at the Hope, Lamberts and Bowmanston.
The Authority’s tanker crews will continue to make every effort to service residents in the affected areas supplied by these systems.
The Authority reminds everyone that even though the Hurricane Season has begun, the island is still being impacted by the effects of a prolonged drought.
You are reminded that you must store water to assist yourself and your family on an ongoing basis and particularly at this time.
As usual, the BWA reiterates five gallons per person, per day, per household for a minimum of five days or as much as your household requires.
