Two 29-year-old young men have been arrested and charged for having in their possession firearms and ammunition and are both expected to appear in the Holetown Magistrate’s Court on today.
They are Baggio Elson Roberto Roach 29 years of Block 1 # 38 Thorpes, St. James and Mario Antonio Demar Robinson 29 years of Denny Road, Thorpes, St. James.
Roach has been charged with having in his possession without a license and permit a Glock 9mm pistol and eight rounds of ammunition. Robinson had in his possession a Ruger .40 pistol and 23 rounds of ammunition.
Police Public Relations Officer Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss said, “The Anti-gun Unit and the C.I.D northern division executed a warrant on Tuesday 7, July at the residence of Baggio Roach, these two  men who were present at the house tried to escape but were apprehended by personnel, a search of their person revealed the mentioned firearms and ammunition.”
