A 20-year-old woman was remanded to prison when she appeared in court today on two charges, including one for murder.
Romancia Makaila Odwin, of Whopping, Orange Hill, St James, was not required to plead to murdering 56-year-old Ronald ‘Smokey’ Skeete between July 18 and 19, 2020 and that between the same dates she wounded Zonelle Sobers with intent to maim, disfigure or disable, or do some other serious bodily harm to her whilst at Whopping, Orange Hill, St James.
Magistrate Wanda Blair remanded Odwin to HMP Dodds until August 24.
The body of Skeete, a fish vendor, was found naked and slouched against the fencing of his residence with visible injuries about his upper body.
