Police Public Relations Officer Inspector (ag) Rodney Inniss said the incident took place around 2:45 a.m this morning at 2nd Avenue Gills Gap, Eagle Hall, St Michael which is less than 100 metres away from Black Rock police station. Inniss said a man reported the incident to police which triggered an immediate response, when police arrived on the scene they discovered the body of a male lying in the roadway. Ambulance personnel arrived shortly afterwards and on examination of the body found no sign of life. A medical doctor pronounced him dead at the scene. Investigations are ongoing at this time. Police have issued a public appeal to anyone for may have any information relating to this matter, whether they witnessed or have any knowledge of this incident to please contact the Black Rock Police Station @ 4177501 Police Emergency 211 or Crime Stoppers 1800 8477 (TIPS).
