Eighteen-year-old Anya Faye Nicholls died following an accident along Mount Gay Road, St Lucy on Friday, August 14 around 4 p.m.
According to police the teenager from Pine Gardens, Pine Plantation, St Michael was in a vehicle which was travelling in an easterly direction, “when the driver for some reason under investigation lost control. The vehicle overturned throwing the passenger [Nicholls] unto the roadway.”
“She died on the spot. The ambulance responded but saw no sign of life,” police said in a release. (PR)
