Residents in some sections of St James, St Andrew, St Thomas, St Joseph are likely to experience low water pressure or water outages, the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) has advised.

The BWA says its Pumping Station at Apes Hill is offline due to low reservoir levels and as a result, customers connected to the Castle Grant Distribution system will be affected.

Meanwhile, the BWA says pumping resumed late Tuesday at the Lambert Station which was affected by low reservoirs levels.

It however said that residents in the north serviced by this station may still be impacted by outages or low pressure.

The BWA says tankers will be dispatched to the affected areas.
